Reading Group Jo Baer’s Up Close in the Land of the Giants with Janine Armin

Come join our reading group, during which we will read from Jo Baer’s Up Close in the Land of the Giants. Art historian Janine Armin, who is currently pursuing a PhD on the work of Baer, will guide us through the texts while focusing in particular on the passages dealing with Jo’s experiences working with material related to Neolithic sites in Anatolia, and their influence on her work.
