On Saturday April 29 spoken word artist Kevin Groen will perform snippets from his theatre show Adopted Identity. A show which tells the story of his adoption and journey figuring out where he belongs. The show explores identity crisis, family relationships, depression, healing, and the complexity and paradoxes that is adoption. Following the performance there will be an after talk with the audience.
Kevin Groen (South Korea, 1980) is a behavior change expert and spoken word artist who confronts uncomfortable themes. As an adopted South Korean boy, ‘identity’ has always been an important issue that mainly led to more questions than answers. Today, he uses his voice and skills to help his clients change behavior and confront audiences with prejudices you didn’t know you had.
