Talk Dana Linssen

During this event Dana Linssen will pull the film Four Months, Four Million Light Years by Sara Sejin Chang (Sara van der Heide) into a broader perspective. She will for instance discuss other films that address a political issue from a personal theme or concern. The imagery presented in films about transnational and transracial adoption also comes into play. How does it differ from Four Months, Four Million Light Years? Are there perhaps also similarities and what makes Sara’s film so unique?

During the 2nd part of the event Dana will go into conversation with Sara.

Dana Linssen is a film critic (for NRC Handelsblad and de Filmkrant), lecturer film history, analysis and theory at ArtEZ Academy of Theatre Arnhem and HKU Utrecht.
