Much of Michel Cardena’s art (and life) revolved around food. He was particularly inspired by the cookbook, ‘Modern Cooking’, by Paul Henri-Pellaprat. This book plays an important role in several works from the 70’s on show in the exhibition.
Culinary expert, writer, cookbook critic and radiohost Jonah Freud presents a lecture about Paul Henri-Pellaprat and composes a dinner based on the Pellaprat menus used in Cardena’s work.
The dinner takes place in the exhibition ‘Cardena Warming Up’, guests will be invigorated by food and art from the 70’s.
The talk will be in Dutch, for more information see the Dutch site.
