Tour through the exhibition by Jo Baer

On the last day of Jo Baer’s solo exhibition Between the Lines (R.A.T.S. however…) curator Madelon van Schie will give a tour that will start at 16.00.

At first glance the exhibition brings together a diverse group of works by Jo Baer (1929). Her formal strategies, use of material and the viewing experience are central, as are several, sometimes furtive, recurring thematic aspects. In the final weeks of the exhibition, several previously unseen paintings will be added, including re-created minimalist compositions from the 1960s.

Madelon will guide you through the various stages of Baer’s 70-year career and will point out the differences and similarities, revealing the interconnections between the works in the exhibition along the way.
