Young Collectors Circle x Rozenstraat: Gallery Night
Interested in starting your own art collection? Join the Gallery Edition of the Young Collectors Circle to learn the ins and outs of collecting, developing your own taste and style and having a bit of fun with it.
We are starting off at ROZENSTRAAT – a rose is a rose is a rose with an tour of the current exhibition, followed by talks from our art coaches, sharing with you what to look for in a gallery and what to ask, as well as how to present art at home.
Next up is the gallery tour, where you will visit 3 leading Amsterdam galleries and meet with artists, gallerists and collectors. Afterwards, we’ll return to Rozenstraat for speed dates with collecting coaches, while enjoying a cold drink.
All galleries are in walking distance. English and Dutch speakers welcome!
PROGRAM
This program starts at 2 different times. The first groups start at 6:45 at Rozenstraat, returning from their tour at 9 for speeddates and drinks. The second groups start at 7:45, returning at 10.

ROZENSTRAAT
The new project space ROZENSTRAAT – a rose is a rose is a rose emerged from a necessity to protest against the downfall of independent project spaces in Amsterdam. After the closure of Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (SMBA) a few Amsterdam art professionals took over the space to maintain it as an exhibition platform for experimental contemporary art.
