Rosebud #1:
Momu & No Es

We are super excited that Momu & No Es will be the first to exhibit their work in our new programme: Rosebud. This focuses on artists connected to the Netherlands. The programme is dynamic with a rolling catalogue of artists having the opportunity to exhibit their work every six to eight weeks.

Momu & No Es explore daily life and engage in a world where tangible reality easily merges with a digital environment in which all elements carry equal weight. In their work they call for other possible worlds by questioning and visualizing the fragile borders between the story and the understanding of the daily surroundings.

Momu & No Es, Lucía Moreno (Basel, 1982) and Eva Noguera (Torelló, 1979), both graduated from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at University of Barcelona, later completed their MFA at DAI (The Dutch Art Institute) in The Netherlands.Their work has been shown in galleries and art centers such as La Casa Encedida, Madrid (2019), Joey Ramone, Rotterdam (solo in 2019) CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, Madrid (2018), Espai13 Fundació Joan Miró (solo in 2017), TENT, Rotterdam (2016), 1646, The Hague and the 11th Biennal de La Habana (2012).
